stock vert wheel tire fitment

There are a ton of wheel/tire threads but everything is modification. I just need to know if anyone has put 225/50/15 tires on the stock vert wheels, on a vert, without spacers on the vert. And did they rub stuff? pics are cool too

I used to run 225, but pretty sure it was a 60 series, and it fit no issues

I'm think 225/50's will look bloated on a 6.5" wheel. I run 205/50's on my NA and it made the car a lot more peppy.

i like the higher revs per mile with them but they just realy look funny on the car. im hoping 225/50 will look close to original sidewall but wider

Short answer: Yes.

Longer answer: This will vary a bit by manufacturer, since the profiles vary some. The good news is that the car handled very well with them.
