Stock Thread Size for Master Cylinder Pushrod
What's that you say? RX-7's don't have pushrods? Heck yes they do!
I'm replacing my clutch master cylinder with a Wilwood 1" unit. When installing the Wilwood, I noticed that the pushrod (what the pedal actually pushes into the cylinder) does not thread into the nut on the clutch pedal.
The simplest option is to replace the pushrod from the Wilwood unit with the pushrod from the stock tII master, but, yeah, I already got rid of my stock MC...[hangs head in shame]
My question is this: does anyone have a master cylinder laying around that could tell me the thread size/pattern? Another option would be to reference a source that has such information. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I hate to ***** my own thread, but MisterStyx69 supplied a reasonable solution that you all might like to hear:
Remove the original "horseshoe" (which is what it looks like) from the clutch pedal and re-thread it to match the new Wilwood MC pushrod.
Genius!
Has anyone else done this?

..and YES I have done it..and I know it works..
Started with a 1 inch Wilwood...then 3/4 now 5/8..
If it can hold the pressure of the one inch then it will hold anything!
(the clutch felt like you were driving an 18 wheeler..almost had to grab the wheel when pushing it down and then watch that your knee doesn't hit you in the face when you let the pedal up!)
