Stock Spring Rate

Does anyone know what the stock spring rate is? I am getting massive wheel hop. When i was searching through old post I read that a softer spring rate would help cure that problem. My question is can i still go to a stiffer spring if I get a stiffer strut and not get wheel hop? I still have stock suspension and my car is an 88 SE. Thanks in advance

The dimensions of the springs are in the FSM, and any spring maker would be able to tell you the rate from that and suggest alternatives.
I’m no suspension expert, but I thought wheel hop was a problem with too-soft shocks.

Would I be correct in assuming that it is the Rebound of the shocks that would be the best way to fix wheel hop?
