Question Stock Sideskirts

Does the 1989 TII come with stock sideskirts (they have a round lip on the bottom of them)? As well, if it does, are they removable? How?

Thanks
Tom

Yes, the 1989-92 TII sideskirts were stock. All other models were optional.

They screw into the frame underneath and on the wheel wells.

Was it just the TurboII that came with them, or did other models have them as well? Wonder what they would look like on my S4 GXL....

Thanks for compliments guys. I had an '87 TII without the side skirts and I like the look of the '89 alot better. The side skirts are subtle but if you see the cars side by side, there is a substantial difference in the way the cars look. Also, in that picture above, those spots on the sunroof are reflections from the clouds, not fading paint. You guys should see that car now, you would not recognize it. It is covered with a thick coating of road salt. It has snowed here every week since January. It's my daily driver so it has been hard to keep it clean this winter. Hopefully I'll get it all cleaned up again this weekend. There is a 1/2 of ice on the road now!

Todd
