Stock Radio Problem
Stock Radio Problem
when i bouth the car it was working. i drove it home left it and took it out the next day and wasnt able to hear anything from the radio. the light on the radio comes on and i hear very little static and some times the volume goes up then down (like it doesnt have enought power or juice. im really thinkin its the alternator but then again my voltage says above 12. the antenna is broken can that cause the problem? i hear it moving when i turn the radio on and off. the guy i bought it from said it never happend to him so im guessing its me or something new just went wrong. i have a 90 gxl and i hate driving wihtout music. dont have money to get a deck thanks.
oh yeah i checked the radio fuse under the driver seat. its not that. is there another fuse i should check because it seems like its caused by a bad fuse.

so if you turn the volume all the way up, you here no static at all ?
assuming you've already tried adjusting the left/right and front/rear *****.
On the OEM Pioneer head unit/radio I think you need to press the FM button once to turn the radio on.
