Exclamation Stock oil pressure over 110 lbs!

My stock oil pressure gauge on my 88 SE reads that I am over 110 lbs of pressure.. Is this some way to tell me my gauge is malfunctioning? or what would I need to start lookign at to find why the pressure is so high?

please helpme out! I nearly panicked when I noticed that gauge at maximum reading!

Do you have a Fram oil filter on or a renamed fram?!?!?
They make RX-7s oil pressure spike up high.

I'm using a Bosch right now, purolator and wix are good. The best is the Japanese Mazda Filters. I use these whenever possible.
