If it looks doable you could use a cheap heat gun to heat a section and then push it into place with a bit of 2x4. ABS gets soft enough for thermalforming at 150 -180 °C so a IR thermometer is always helpful.

The snorkel is the same on the na and tii so you have plenty of intake flow capacity to spare. And you could retain most of the OEM look and have the better cooling.

Something to consider.
I have a heat gun, good enough for 1200 degress, I use it to fix PCBs. guess I can turn it lower to give it a shot ?

those came with the car so I have no idea if it's S4 or S5

u got any pic of the S5 snorkle so I can get a better idea ?

*edited* Nevermind, I Searched and found some pics. Now I get what you mean.

hmm, ok, so I got a S4 Snorkel, need to find a S5 version. not like it makes a difference but ... want to make it a "nice and pure" S5 at least on the outside ...

wait, you sure my snorkel is not S5 ?

Cuz I just checked, This is the S4's intake diagram, N326-13-201D, DUCT

and This is S5's intake diagram, N350-13-201, DUCT (N350 should be S5)

so ...

i don't ever recall them looking that different. the difference is in as i said, the coolant filler gooseneck off the radiator which yours is revised and doesn't have.

this is how the older S5 koyo radiators look:

Shorten snorkel tube 1-1.5", drill two holes into the metal where the snorkel fasteners are now located. Secure snorkel with two nuts and two bolts. The snorkel would even sit over the old holes so you couldnt see them. Done.

when u look at the Rad, it actually shows the blueprint of the Rad, the r1144 model still has the gooseneck but not the r1144n

mazdatrix have pictures of both.
