Stock glass sunroof?

So I have this glass sunroof, the guy I got it from said it was stock but I didn't think the FC ever had a clear sunroof as a stock option. Either way it looks really solid. I was wondering if it was indeed stock or if it's a nice after market.

Dont let these guys bullshit you. Its worth money. and a good bit of it too. Put it in and make thse guys jealous. Their rare and hard to find parts. I cant remember if they were a dealer option or what, someone will chime in with that answer.

+1......Do not sell it to anyone. Install it and make your FC even more of a collector.

I have one and its always the talk in 7 meets lol. It was a optional item made by a company upstate NY that no longer exisits, these sunroofs are very very rare. If you put it on ebay, dont be surprised to see it for at least $500.00
They are rare
They will never rust out.
Only bad thing. on a sunny day, you top head will cook lol. and the plastic bolt covers will tend to crack where the lil screws go. other than that, its solid gold dude
It will bolt right up just like the metal one. just remove the 6 nuts on the metal one, and drop that one right in. they are heavy, so you might need to help it open once its all bolted up. unless my motor is about to get shot lol..
ohhh, before you install it, buy a can of flat black rustoleum and paint those edges lol.

My friend had a bronzeish one presumably from a 10AE that bolted to the factory sunroof tracks.... I want to duplicate that bitch. Would be sexy as hell.. expecially if it wasn't bronze.

When I have time I'll actually attempt it. I have a friend that works at a glass shop, and I'm pretty handy with acrylic.

I have a uncle that works in a glass place and couldnt replicate it b/c it would have been to expensice to make a master mold. I am still thinking about it since you would make crazy money selling them latter

The hardest part with glass is getting the exact curvature.. aside from that it would be easy as hell. Acrylic is the same deal...

good luck on making $$$$$ mad money with these..
i had one 2 months ago on Ebay and it dont go for ****.........$100 shipped
The reason they r "rare" is because nobody wanted to pay the extra $$ to get them...i have yet to see any proof that they were indeed a dealer option. I would love to see an option sheet that has this on there.......
People Emailed me so much telling me that they were after market sunroofs.

Yeah that the reason my uncle was like, it would be expensive. the curve it has makes it hard to do, hence it needs a master mold
