Stock FPR questions (UK car)

I've done a fair bit of searching and researching but I'm a bit confused about the stock FPR on my S5 Turbo II

I've been looking at it because I've been removing some of the solenoids due to not having an air pump because I'm fitting a RB RevII exhaust.

All the threads I've seen seem to suggest the FPR has one vacuum hose going to it and has one solenoid on the rack. But mine has two..

First off I want to understand why this is different? Do UK cars have more in common with JDM models?

I kinda understand the function of the one solenoid for the FPR as its meant to help with hot starting, but does anyone know what the two solenoids do? Or do they achieve the same thing?

Lastly, I'm currently 50/50 on whether to remove the solenoid rack and vacuum spider completely as I've already removed the two solenoids that relate to the ACV.

If I were to remove the FPR solenoids, where would I plumb the two open ports on my FPR to?

Thanks for any help in advance!

we don't have the EU parts catalog, and the JDM cars have the same FPR as the US ones, so you have a unicorn.

that being said, since it has TWO hoses, they can control the diaphragm both ways. the US/JDM setup just bypasses the vacuum signal, to raise fuel pressure on a hot start. yours will do that, plus it can lower pressure under some circumstance.

i would just leave it alone, its totally reliable, and its already caused more problems trying to figure it out that it might solve by removing it

Yeah after looking at the setup a bit closer I think I will leave the solenoids for the FPR in place as its always worked ok as far as I know

Interesting that it is different from both the US and JDM setups!

That said, I think someone has changed some bits on this engine already in the past, as the pulsation dampener is the screw in type, which I believe was only on S4 models not S5's?

that looks original, but it is different from the US/JDM spec, especially that swaged hose
