I done some searching and some questioning (This will sould really dumb.) My turbo hood is smashed and now that it is warm outside I want to fix my T2. Everyone knows that the SMIC is in a bad place, and I have an N/A hood that is in perfect condition. If I had the money for tubing, could I convert the top mount to front mount, or would it not flow correctly?

You're best off getting another S4TII TMIC and having the cores welded together in parallel.

People have had good results from using those as FMIC's

 

Just get a bigger core off ebay for 50-100$. You are going to spend all that coin front mounting it, then have to do it all over again when its not cooling enough.
