Stock clutch?

I just bought a blown motor (front rotor is toast, all apex seals gone, rotor gouged) and it came with a clutch and flywheel assembly. From what I can tell, the clutch has been lightly used, and it seems to be different than stock, at least from the FSM. This clutch has got six springs on it, versus the FSM's four. Could someone explain why this is better than the OEM?
