you do not need a "serious" clutch for 400whp. You will need a sprung 6 puck at most with a mid level pressure plate, you could even get away with a full faced disc if you don't drag race.
I prefer ACT clutches. Their heavy duty pressure plate with performance street disc is rated at 340 torque at the flywheel, so maybe 300 torque. You're going to be right around 300-320 torque at the 400whp mark (I did 386rwhp 297rwtq), so that's close. The sprung 6 puck is rated at something like 430 flywheel torque, and that's still relatively steetable although it has some chatter. When you start getting into solid 6 and 4 puck discs you are talking serious clutch. FC's tend to break pivot ***** when you put a really heavy pressure plate in them (like ACT xtreme pressure plate).

hmm im going to have to look into both these. this car is going to be 100% street with a couple runs down the drag for bragging rights lol. but i dont need anything for racing purposes.
