stock CD swap?

Will a stock CD player (from another year?) fit in the place where my stock (broken) cassette player is?
Just wondering.

Yep. But just make sure it matches the series of your car (don't swap 86-88 and 89-92 parts).

It'll plug in (as far as I know, bear in mind I have not done this).
