Stock BOVs

does anyone know if the stock 3rd gen BOVs are the same as the 2nd gens?
it says JF01 on my FCs and N390 on a third gens... are there two different types of BOV on 3rd gens?
randomest question ever...

I dont belive the FC3S t2 came with a BOV from the factory........ i could be mistaken.

You are mistaken. Mazda call it an "air bypass valve" but it's exactly the same thing.

Jack, the only reason to swap in a FD BOV would be if it was bigger. Compare the connections and see. The FD one takes a little less vacuum to fully open it (9.2inHg vs. the FC's 11.8in Hg), but that shouldn't make any difference.

Jason to the rescue! I just saw someone on ebay selling parts and was selling 3rd gen BOVs. I was just curious if there was any difference besides that there are two
