stock airbox vaccum line? on 88 gxl manual please help
stock air box, ok i noticed on my gxl that on the airbox itself thee is a little tubp like a port on the mass air flow side with nothing connected to it, should there be a hose connected to it and where should it go to? i searchd the forums and couldnt find anything on it and it is really starting to bug me

capped off, the clearly is a hose supposed to go there witch i have seen in pictures also there is the vaccum plugs on the very end of the intake right befor the throttle body, and only the bigger one is connected, im gonna take pictures of the engine ay tomorrow to
does it do anything important NZ?

I don't know of this nipple Hailers mentioned. It's been years since I saw a stock airbox. There's only one hose connected to the intake duct that I know of, and that's for the BAC and AWS valves.

well the hose on the far left ottom coming from the air box is the one i mentioned earlier , i will have to take new pics tomorrow to show you the other lines, im not possative that there is two but i thought i saw a second nipple by the upper intake

Any hose of the right diameter will work, but the bend might be a bit sharp causing it to kink. The factory hose is pre-formed. You could get it from Mazda (p/n N326-20-751) or look for a used one.
