still can't get 10ae running right

ok im one ste closer to getting my car running. first here is what i did.... pvc TID, removed all emisions and BAC, reovedall solenoids, TB mod, removed air pump, removed chacoal canister, cone intake, new injecors (w/ resistors) and maybe a few other things. aside fom the intake an full RB exhust te car is stock. i took everything off and when i put the car back together it wouldn't stay running. it wil only start if i floor the gas and it will start rev to 5k (gas pedal still on floor)then cut out like it's ot getting fuel. i tried swapping afm's bt the only one i could get was an n/a one. it worked and may car stayed running if i kept it above 1500 rpm. and it ran rel rough below 2500. coul my only problem be a bad afm or do i hae problems somewhere else. i blocked off baically everything and the only open ports are to the fuel reg and oi injetors. someone please help me as this is my only car right now. if you can cal me 860778-5278 and i'll call you back so you don't have to pay for the call. i really ned my car fixed. and the only place i could have a vacum leak is between the upper and lower manifold which i highly doubt. PLEASE HELP ME. i will pay as much as i can and if your local hook you up at ou shop or with parts

I doubt its the afm. Sorry but one can't but help say HUGE VACUUM LEAK. Even after you say you looked. It'd have to be a very large leak. Like the one half inch vac line at the rear, center of the engine that goes to the brake booster is off. A small hose won't do it.

The very words THROTTLE BODY MOD worry me also. A potential source of a air leak. Call the SABBGUY.

Or is it possible its a small thing like connecting the fuel lines on backwards>>>???????

fuel lines are correct. that's almost impossible to mess up. the line to the brake booster is capped so i know that's not leaking (capped for test pusposes). sabbguy came over today and he couldn't figure it out either. he and i are both l eaning towards afm. i can get it started with my friend's n/a afm but it runs rough

If you insist. Its your fuel injectors. The lower grommets are not seated properly and are causing a vacuum leak. Thats it. Did you put new grommets on? Or use the old hardened ones. Yep. Fuel injector grommets leaking unregulated air.
