Stereo Panel and Stereo Panel Grill

I have an '86 GXL and I need the stereo panel and stereo panel grill/louver (for the vent dealies), I see MazdaTrix has them, but that's almost $180 to replace those, and that's, pardon my language, ******* insane. So is there any other place I could find them for cheaper? There are no junkyards around here.

Thanks.

Yes, "******* insane" is a perfect choice of words!! Ask around here on the forum or on www.thepartstrader.com. You can almost always find parts for really cheap. GOod luck man!! Also, just lettin you know 86-88 center console's are different that 89-91. Different material, if you really care....

You can get them all day long on Ebay. (Ernst Borcherst out of Rock Hill, SC even sells them new for a Buy It Now price) The 86-88 surrounds and grills are made of hard plastic. You're better off with the series V, 89-91 pieces, soft rubber shell over some sort of very resistant, pliable material. The Series V pieces fit perfectly in the older cars.
You will need the Series V grill for that surround. The grills are unique. If you have an 88 vert with the factory radio, you need to scrollsaw or saw the side panels that are molded into the Series V rubber as the radio is too wide for that model only (ask me how I know).
You'll pay $30-60 for the surround, the grill runs extra and then you could top off with a shift surround. Not necessary but looks nice. I will have (its not on yet) that complete set with a new leather shift boot we made for around $100 with everything included on Ebay.
