Steering wheel location with hubs, quick disconnect

Since the stock steering wheel on my 'vert is worn out and starting to fall apart, I'm looking to replace it with a nice Momo wheel. While I'm at it, I'd like to shift it just slightly backwards so my knees aren't hitting it as much too (the wheel I'm looking to get- the Pilota 2- also has a flat bottom to help with this). Does the NRG short hub adapter & quick release hub keep the wheel in the stock location, or move it back a bit?

Also, if my reading is right, the stock wheels are 380mm and the aftermarket ones are 350mm (or 320mm, but with a de-powered 15:1 rack I don't want a tiny wheel...) correct? I'm also wondering if- in the case that the NRG hub/quire disconnect do keep the wheel in the stock location what other people's experiences have been with gaining legroom from the smaller wheels. (As a reference, I'm just shy of 6' tall)

Thanks!

I'm 6'1" with a 30" inseam.
I run a R.E.A. D-ring that I think is 350mm; I used to run a MOMO Race 350mm.
I have manual steering.
I recommend not to run anything less than a 350mm on a manual steering FC.
A 320mm is a PITA to drive with manual steering.
I run the MOMO adapter hub with a 1.5" custom K2RD spacer.
I could go a little more on the spacer, but it's enough to keep my fingers from hitting the turn signal / cruise control stalks by accident.
With the 350mm MOMO Race (I assume it's concentric / centered), I could barely see the turn signal indicator lamps at the top of the instrument cluster.
With the R.E.A., I think it has the same 2mm offset like the stock steering wheel to get a better view of the turn signal indicator lamps.

I think getting at least 2.0" of spacer with a centered 350mm should be good enough.
Most of the quick releases are about this spacing.
