Steering wheel hub

Hi,
When installing a hub for an aftermarket steering wheel, how tight does the nut have to be tightened?
If I tighten it all the way. the steering wheel is very hard to turn. Is this because my hub sucks? I got it on ebay.

It sounds like you're crushing the steering wheel angle sensor.
It might be too late, but you might want to make sure the two "pins" are aligned in the holes.
If you don't have two holes opposite each other on the adapter, they didn't machine the adapter right.

That would be a very bad thing, as the plastic tabs are part of the sensor for turning off your turn signals after a turn and telling the power steering computer what angle the wheel is at.
