Steam from engine bay

Okay, I've got another problem (not a big surprise to me) my car's got hesitation problems, but that's another thread. Now I've also got steam coming from my engine. It looks like it's coming from the area in front of and below the throttle body, and closer to the passenger side of the vehicle. Any idea if this could be a simple fix, or is this gonna look more like a seal gone bad somewhere?

There is a coolant hose that runs from under the alternator and up to the BACV valve . . check that for leaks.
