Stay N/A or go Turbo?

As my motor is nearing 125k miles I'm starting to make plans for either a rebuild or a TII swap. My car is already having a TII trans dropped in and a TII hood. I want to know which will be more bang for the buck. Either rebuilding my current motor with a race port and keep the existing mods or dropping a S5 TII motor instead. Keep in mind I'm aware of the potential of a TII motor but remember I will have to buy the motor and rebuild it along with a few other parts needed. I can get my current motor rebuilt with a race port for around $1000. Does that seem like an alternative to a TII conversion?

I'd say drive it until its dead, save the money, then rebuild a turbo with SP.

porting a n\a motor alot means your gonna make alot of power... but driviability will suck, and it will have a better chance of crapping out on you. go with t2, you can make more power on smaller safer ports, and in the end... turbos are just cooler :p

125k N/A motor is still good, should last 200k+ if taken care properly. I'd say save your money a buy a turboII with a blown motor and rebuild that. And use the N/A as a daily beater.

This choice isn't even closse.Rebuild the turbo engine and put it in. That's the winner hands down. Take into consideration the buying of a downpipe for the tubo in case you forgot.
