What is the metal the Stat gear is made of? Is it just Stainless steel or a mixture of metals?

Read the rules, no bumps allowed.

They're probably not stainless steel, but rather a high grade alloy.

S4 and below (not counting turbos) are just regular old steel, some decent alloy, but not stainless.

S5 and above are hardened.
