Starts up good...then dies after 10 mins??

went out this morning..car sat all nite...
*Started it up, went straight to 3000 RPMs, ok..GOOD
*Then, progressively went down to a lil below 1000 RPMs. ok..still GOOD
*so, i let it sit for a while...after about 10-15 mins, it jsut dies???

I dont kno what to think, the car started off really well, but then just dies?, what will cause this?,

thank you

Intake air leaks

Fuel supply (bad gas/injectors)

tuneups

in that order

thanks,
if its an intake leak, as in a vacuum leak, wouldnt tha idle be abnormal?, like, bouncy? mines, wen it gets a lil warm, it will be a lil under 1000 RPM, and and be steady, then, after lettin it sit there, it will jsut lose all power and die.

oh well...still trying to diagnos this

Set the timing, tps, and then the idle. You do just fine in the beginning because your thermowax and fast idle cam are keeping the primary throttly plates cracked open approx .016 in. When the water heats up, the thermowax extends , gradually, and when the roller falls off the fast idle cam, the .016 gap goes to zip gap. At this time, if the idle had been set properly, the car would idle at 750 rpm. It does not because the car needs a *tune up*, i.e. the idle set per the manual that is free at http://iluvmyrx7.com its in the FUEL SECTION.
