starting up

hey guys, i have a question.

once i start my fc up it revs at 3rpms for about a good 30 secs

my motor has 100,000 on it and i change the oil ever 3,000 miles. just wanted to know if this is a problem or not?

it is normal. if you shut the car off while in the process it will flood

well technically it shouldnt flood if you shut it off, that is if your fuel system and compression are good.

revving up to 3k is normal, it is the warm up period or whatever you want to call it, a lot of people like to have it set lower though.

It's normal, leave it in gear if you don't want it to do it. Oh yeah, with the clutch in.

ok thanks guys, im new to the rx7s. im a toyota guy my self

i had a 87 turbo supra with alot of work done to it but i wreck it so i bought a 87 fc for 500$

if i run into anyother strange things, i will make sure to post on this site
