starting question real quick

i put a new batt in my car and i went to start it and it was truning over slow and there was a clicking noise. it goes RERRRR REERRR click RERRR RERRRR CLICK CLICK CLICK REERRR CLICK CLICK CLICK. it wont start but it is clicking what the hell can it be?

Battery connections tight? Loose wire somewhere?

There is a loose connection somewhere...If all you did was replace the battery, then it would have to be something that you moved or loosened during the process. Slow cranking usually means that your new battery is dead, or that one of the cables is loose.

the batt. gaudge shows about half way. but what is that clicking noise?? sounds like it is not getting any spark. i pulled one of the plugs out and it was wet
