Starting Problems

I'm having trouble starting my 88 Turbo II, I've checked everything, I have spark, compression, and fuel. When I crank the motor, the rotors are spinning, and it seems to want to turn over every now and then. I think the motor is just flooded. I was wondering if I should check anything else out before trying again. When I checked for spark, all of them were firing but they seemed a little weak. Does anyone have any pictures of the spark plugs firing?, I just want to compare them to mine.

I used to hold my main coil wire about an inch from my distributor on my GSL-se and the additional build up of spark would fire up the engine. I know you dont have a distributor, but could you try something similar? Have you checked your engine grounds?

I think the spark should be suffient to fire up the motor. I think the motor was just flooded and couldn't start. I had quite a bit of fuel go through the motor, so once I get the fuel out of there, it should be fine. I hope, lol.

I've heard of putting a switch on the fuel pump so you can turn over the engine without the pump and get some of the extra fuel out. In case it is a chronic problem.
