starting problem...please help :(

my car can not start, when I turn the ignition key the car loses electrical power - everything dies. ...you can only hear warning beep, but fading away..
I have new battery, new terminals, the fuses are fine, I've just replaced alternator and starter.
I'm thinking of ECU and CPU boxes

thank you in advance guys...

I'm thinking about how you just changed the starter and might not have installed the gnd wire on the LONG starter bolt good. THAT wire on the LONG starter bolt is the main gnd for just about everything in the long run.

Or the new battery cable end fittings just are not on good.

I'm betting the lotto that the ECU and CPU have squat to do with your problem.

It's weird ...I just bought a new battery so it can't be that.

the terminals are new and not loose.

I checked everything that I did last on it....it doesn't make any sense.

I've gotten some new batteries for our customers' cars that were too weak to start a car. Never know how long they are sitting on the shelf before they are sold. Get a bettery tester and give it a load test.

I hope that's the issue..... I was able to start it with a jumper cables...I didn't hold it long and when I shut the engine off I wasn't able to turn it back on.

turn on the headlights and try starting it. if it goes dim then I'd say that the battery has some issues. good luck.

His battery cables are the problem. Either at one end OR the other.

He really NEEDS to do what is asked of him. HE was asked to turn his headlights on and give the results. He did not. He turned his key to On and said he loses electrical power. HE did not do what was asked. TURN THE HEADLIGHTS ON and tell the man what you observe. NOT turn the key to ON. TURN THE HEADLIGHTS ON.

Did they come up? Did the stay bright?

It seems like anything I try to turn on in my car loses power and dies...
I already tried to turn the lights on, and they did not work.

was everything working before you replaced the starter and alternater and terminals? seems like there is a bad connection somewhere. seems more like on the positive side. check the wire to the alternator again and make sure it has a good connection. check the battery with a volt meter and see what you get. check and see if your getting good voltage at your fuse box. grounds ok? check the one going to the engine or trans. what part of los angeles? I am in culver city/ marina del rey right by Washington Blvd. & Lincoln Blvd. PM me. J.
