Angry starting problem, please help

Two weeks ago me and a buddy of mine took off the turbo from my 88TII replaced the gaskets and this weekend put everything back together. Well when we started the car we noticed an exhaust leak somewhere however the car was idleing perfect for about 10 minutes. We descided to jack the car up while the car was idleing so we could find out where exactly the exhaust was leaking. Well while the car was up on jackstands the car stopped idling and died! After getting the car off the jackstands we tried firing it up again however now it will not start! what would cause this? There is a half a tank of gas in the car so its not that. Also I tried using one of those light pens that you plug into a ground and touch the tip of it on a possitive and the pen lights up, well I tried using it on the coil (took spark plug off of coil and touched the inside of the coil) and there was no light going off in the pen? Does this mean the coil pack is bad? Also we tried it on the trailing and the pen is still not lighting up. I do have an msd 6a that I use and I have heard that it can kill your coils but would it kill the trailing as well? We checked the gas tank from the fuel pump and there is gas and the pump does pump. Please any help would be great thanks!

???? How much later? Also we checked all fuses and all of them are good. This happend about 2pm today and it is now 6 and still nothing. I'm going to try the unflooding method however I don't think its that if it just died and won't start again.

Re: starting problem, please help

Make sure you plugged the AFM plug firmly back in. If it wasn't clipped in properly, your 10 minutes of idling may have shaken it loose.
