Starting Problem
Hey guys....I have a couple questions on my new TII.
Sometimes (not all the time) when I start it, it will just die again right away, and will do this several times before starting normally and keeping running. Also, when it does this, when it's idling it will bump up and down a little, like from 1000 to 1300. I think my TPS might be messed up, but this is my first TII and don't know where the TPS is (i had an N/A before-obviously not the same)...If anyone could help me, It'd be greatly appreciated...
Thanks
Leo

Well, I can't seem to find a pic of the T2 TPS but it looks just like the NA one and is under the intercooler on the front side of the TB. I have a how-to for adjusting it on my website and I am sure there are a bunch of other ones out there.
If your car is dying when you first start it then the 3000 rpm system probably isn't working right. I think the AWS solenoid is responsible for that. For now though if you just give it some gas to keep it going until it warms up a bit it should stay running.
