I am in the process of trying to get a compression test on my old engine out of my car that was stolen.. I have a spare batt.. can i take jumper cables and run them directly to starter and get it to turn over fine? anyone try this? thanks guys.. this is the only way to get the engine to spin everything else is burnt to a crisp..
