startering problem

Hey guys my bro and I are trying to figure this out and i haven't had much luck searching on here for it. Anyways the problem is when trying to start the car. The starter will turn the motor, but everyonce and awhile it will crank and sound like a dead spot and skip over, but by that time it's flooded the motor.

Now i'm not sure if this is a starter problem, i've also been told it may be a coil problem.

2nd problem comes at about 6000rpm, it's almost like a shudder or a miss, it's not bootcut, now could this also be related to a posible coil problem??

Car in question is a 88 10ae

- check your coils/spark plug wires/sparkplugs, verify you are getting consisten spark at all of them
- if this is okay, check your timing, read FSM how to
- if spark is OK, it will be time to check fuel....does it flood just one rotor or both?
