Starter? Yes, No?
Alright, I've got a feeling this is my starter, just figured I'd ask though. The car has not flooded for about 4 years and change now and recently has been more or less. The car in the past week has began to start and then doesn't quite catch and keeps cranking. It did this several times until finally when I got home (after having trouble starting it I drove it about 4 miles) I tried starting it and it makes the sound it would as if the battery were almost dead. Car has always run rich but is running fine after I get it started. It did start when I got back home, it just took a little bit of work to get it going.
Also, is the turbo 2 starter any different between the non turbo on 87's? I've got a dead turbo sitting in the garage with a fine starter it doesn't need right now. Thanks -Zach-

sounds like the same problem i had a couple yrs ago. i thought it was the battery so i went out and bought a new one. same issues. i then thought my injectors were bad and was flooding since i had an anti-flood mod installed and it was still hard to start. before i went off the deep end and pulled my injectors to be cleaned, i bought an S4 T2 starter from Aaron Cake. well, he was a lifesaver cuz my car starts up all the time now(hot or cold) and usually catches on the first couple cranks. so i suspect your starter is dying as well.
