Starter wiring all wrong..

Sup yall, so i swapped a s5 j spec motor in my s4. Wired it up and i came to a problem. My starter writer doesn't match up(red/black wire). I bought "s5" writing and everything plugged into the motor fine, except that wireo lol. Theb starter wire is there but on the main harness there's a red/black wire with a green one on the same plug. And my jdm one is just r/b on r/b. Did i get the wrong harness?

This is the japanese one

Remember, USDM cars came with some things the JDM cars did not, such as a 5th gear switch and clutch interlock circuit. Satch will know off the top of his head, but I'm going to wager you're fine .

There really isn't a harness called the main harness (front, rear, emission, engine etc). The front harness has a plug for the interlock switch which has a B/G and B/R wire but a continuity test would verify what you need to know.

thanks fellas, yeah i tested the wiring and i have current flowing thru, all my relays click when i turn the key also. the ignition switch is also working since i took it off my buddy's FC that had a bad motor. yeah i figured it would be a bit different, so theres nothing that goes in between there? should i just wire the starter to a bush start button. im doing a custom switch panel anyways
