Starter question
Hey guys, got a question on the starters. Does the 87-88 T2 starter fit the 89-91 transmission? Also how is the 89-91 tranny different from the 87-88 visually. I am looking to buy one. Just want to make sure i get everything for the T2 drivetrain swap.

The starters are interchangeable. The 89-91 TII transmission has a slightly different mount from 87-88. It's not just the crossmember that's different, but the steel plate with the bolt welded to it that bolts to the transmission.
