just a quick question for you guys!

is the starter from the seconds gens universal with all 86-91 models? or are they engine specific?

basically can i use a 87 na starter on a 90 TII motor?

 

I don't remember this info, I'm sure this has covered plenty of times. I remember reading somewhere that you could swap the motor parts to make them fit in other models of RX7. The trannies in the na and T2 are physically different so the mounting points might be slighty off.

If you already have the na starter I say try it out. It does't take much to swap the alternator.

 

You cannot use a naturally aspirated starter with a turbo motor or vice-versa.
