Starter prob. or something else??

Ok today I got in my car to warm it up before work. I turn the key but only get the idiot lights and the sealt belt retractor to work. Engine didn't turn at all. I got power to everything else. I popped hood to check batt connections and anything else I could think of. I get back in car and try again and nothing. Seems like starter not getting juice. Anyway about 20 min later i tried and car started right up. Drove to walmart before work. Get back in car after bout 10 min. in store. Car won't start. Some issues power, but engine doesn't turn. Try for 2nd time then car starts. Car starts fine the rest of the day. Is it my starter or could it be something else?

Sounds like it may be a failing ignition switch, but check the connections at the starter motor/solenoid.

Well I just checked my floor mat, cuz someone in another thread said it might get in the way of the clutch pedal being depressed. It fired right up! Hope that was the prob. Anyone ever experience the floor carpet thingy?

Not exactly, but my brothers probe has something wrong with the adjustment of the clutch sensor that makes it so that you need to hold the clutch all the way back, firmly against the floorboard, for the car to start.
