Starter Motor?
I need to remove my starter to see if it is bad but i'm not sure whether or not to pull off the little motor thing with all the wires connecting to it or to get out the big thing that it is attached to?

2 bolts hold the whole thing on. Remove them and pull off the entire starter setup, solenoid and all. Then, disconnect the connectons and take it where ever you are having it worked on. Should be like a 5 minute job.

Fokker, the starter is held on with 2 bolts, but one of them has a nut on the engine side. I just thought I'd let you know since you could be there turning that bolt for hours. Remeber to disconnect your battery before messing with the starter.
