start up problems

hi

i recently bought a 86 rx7 gxl. the car runs great and everything. it only problem is during start up. when i bought the car i noticed there was a kill switch for the fuel so i decide to remove it and connect it back to factory how the book said. at first it started up fine but then the second time it would not start it just kept on crankin. i then discovered that in order to start the car i had to start it without the fuel pump on then quickly connect the power back once it was running so i was forced to put the switch back on. it only does this like 1 out of every 4 start ups. if anyone knows what problem is causing this please let me know i want to put a remote start on the car and i know it wont start if it run into this problem with no one in the car

thanks

Yep, its the hot start problem.. Generally indicative of a lower compression motor or a malfunctioning sensor.
