Exclamation Start up problems

Ok, I have a 90 n/a and not a week goes by that my car gets flooded. the problem is that the car will start pefectly after a goodnight's sleep of after 3 hours or so. But if i go to like walmart or something it will not start. i will get it up to operating temp and turn the car off at 750 RPM. then after 30 minutes or so the car will take about a minute and a half of pumping and various method of starting the car. Is it a minor case of flooding every time? Also i put a custom intake on the car. After i put the intake on the car it wouldnt start for about two weeks. The car started after a while and it wasnt flooded. The idle has been shity ever since, start up has sucked, but response is great. Before that the car was an angel at starting. Do you think that an AFC will solve the problem? Maybe a throtle adjustment?

Another problem is that during the week if I dont put anti freeze in every morning the car will most definitly over heat. I know that there isnt a coolant leak, and i'm burning coolant by the hour but how hard is it to replace the coolant seals? And where can i get them?

Please any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

Yes I know that i dont have 3,000 posts.

sounds like your motor needs rebuilding.

You can not replace the water seals without taking apart and rebuilding the motor.

Low compression will make the engine hard to start and prone to flooding. This will be more the case when the engine is cold.

whatever that means... by your descriptions sounds like you blew out a coolant jacket. time for a rebuild.
