start problems
IM having some real problems getting my tII to start when it is cold. The connector to the aws solenoid has a broken wire. Does any one know how to fix this problem or where to get a good used one.

No, but......I don't think that should affect your cold start. I have mine completey removed and my car starts immediately when cold. That thing is used to heat up the cats quickly for Fed. emissions standards. You might look for an unplugged air intake temp. sensor or maybe a vac. leak. Do you have any other symptoms? I have an air intake temp. sensor and water thermo sensor if you end up needing either of those.

more symptoms.
well while I was trying to start it the other day, it was trying to like normal, starts for a second and then dies, but after a little bit of this it gave up trying and doesnt sound like its even firing now, ive got a new set of plugs, but i wasnt going to put them in until after I tried the atf thing. For a few days prior to the above situation, the car would start eventually but would die if i didnt hold down the gas until it was fully warm. after it warms up, it runs fine. while im cranking it though, it wil die immediatly if i touch the gas until it geets to a cartain temp.
