Standalone ecu with AC
Hello,
im trying to run AC with a standalone ecu in my S5 FC. i've read all the tread on jumping the blue/white with blue/orange wire. so far ive only seen one pix of this posted by rob which i think is an S4. from what i can tell, the wire location in the plug is different on an S5. can anyone confirm?
next question, since my ac system is bone dry, the compressor will not kick on even when i push the ac button. i've tried manually applying 12v to the compressor and the clutch does kick in. is there a way to bypass the pressure switch temporarily just to test if the wiring worked before i go charge the thing up with r12?
also, are there any other things i can do to test the system without it being charged?
TIA
