Exclamation Stalls under acceleration

I have a 91 rx-7 non-turbo. My car just died one day while driving. My car starts up fine and idles ok. When i slowly press the accelerator pedal the rpms go up fine but when I press the accelerator pedal hard the car revs up and then almost stalls or dies out depending on how hard i pressed it.

I have tried checking for some vacuum leaks on the major spots. I also checked the spark and plugs and they are fine. Does anyone know what type of fuel gauge connector you have to have to connect it to and where is the fuel port located?

If anyone knows any other things to check please let me know sort of o

Are you running rich? You might be trying to give it too much gas at one time. Or your AF mix could be off.

Thats all im going to venture to suggest, hopefully its some use to you.

+1, check the cat.

Also, check the TPS. Might want to check the AFM, as well.

Does it happen when revving in neutral, or only under load?
