Stalling... Shitty throttle plate spring?
hey guys, i finally took my n/a out of storage and am selling it in a few days, however when driving it after downshifting a few times and slowing down at a stop sign/ red light as soon as i put the clutch in at the stop the revs want to drop to low pretty quickly, sometimes it bounces up and keeps running sometimes it stalls, i was told its probably that spring on the throttle that controls how fast the throttle is let off, just curious to see what you all think help would be extremely greatfull.

Haven't we ALL heard this
There is no spring that controls the closing of the throttle plates to fast.
However, there is a dashpot. It lets the throttle close the last bit slowly.
You can addjust this dashpot.
It is a mushroom top looking thing. That has a little white plastic nipple that comes out of it.....you will see it on the TB.
You can loosen it and make it tighten so it is closer to the tb mechanisms...making it more effective. That might be your problem.

You need to check your mechanical idle setting first before you go messing with the dashpot. The fact that it bounces sometimes means the BAC is probably good...
Jumper the initial set coupler and adjust the idle screw per the FSM...
