stalling problem...
hi i was wondering why my 88 TII would stall after the clutch is in for about 5 secs... anyone encountered this problem before?

it is most likely a vacuum leak. Check all of your vacuum hoses and look for any obvious disconnections, breaks, cracks, etc. If you can't find any, go through the engine bay with a mechanics stethoscope with the engine running and listen for a whistling/hissing noise. I had the same problem. Vacuum leaks are a pain in the ***.

well i ran the problem by my local rotary shop and he seems to think that its the pilot bearing for the clutch, he said when most shops install clutches they dont bother replacing the bearing because they dont have the tool to do it, so they leave the old one in and now its bad trying to grab hold of the motor still while the clutch is in causing the motor to stall... we'll see, ill probably replace all hoses with silicone too so it should get fixed one way or the other..
