stalling out

i just bought a 1987 turbo II. When it hasnt been drivin in a while, and i start it, it revs up and then stalls out. I usually have to start it up a couple times, before it will idle properly. Could this be a problem with the fuel injectors?

I would start with the eas stuff first. Like TPS, plugs, wires, fuel filter, etc....

TPS adjustment:

For a quick fix, try adjusting the idle screw. It's located right next to the "13B Fuel Injected" words when you prop your hood. It may be covered with a little rubber protector.

thanks for the link, that will be a lot of help. I have one more question though concerning step one of the diagnostics. What is the throttle body and how do i hold it open at 2000 rpms?
