Ssq Bov

I ordered a Universal Super Sequential Blow off valve by HKS. When I asked a mechanic to order me a flange for it he said that I have the wrong kit and that I need to get another one. I was wondering if this is true and if it's not if anyone would have a flange for my BOV.

most of the sequential HKS flanges are the same. The racing BOV's have a one that is bolted on with 2 bolts. So... eh.. take a look at it. You should be able to fit the BOV into the flange. try that out first.

You can either buy a mental flange or aluminum flange for SSQ BOV from HKS or just any shop pretty much, depending on what your IC pipes are made of. And then weld on the flange, and put the BOV into the flange. Bam! you're done

If you are doing it to the stock hotpipe above the turbo like I did then you can just order the aluminum flange from HKS and weld it to your stock pipe. Your mechanic doesn't know what he's talking about.

Hey Evileagle,

What size Flange do you have for your BOV? Also I was wondering about your 10th anniversary. Tell me about what all you have done to it.

It isn't a size of flange. It's the flange that HKS makes to mount their BOVs.

I haven't done a whole lot, very few "performance" mods to it. It's been really just a lot of fixing stuff that has been breaking since the car is getting up there in mileage.
