If your SS clutch line leaks or breaks. You will lose the hydraulic pressure needed to properly use the clutch. if it is leaking out of one of the ends where it connects to the master or slave, just tighten it or put some Teflon tape around the threads to stop/slow the leak.... but if it is damaged and/or the leak does not stop, you will need to replace the line...

Oh, and to answer your question, if the line is broken, it will stick to the floor. and if it were leaking:
1. The clutch will still be operational until you get air in the system or until you lose pressure and the clutch begins to engage itself...
2. If it is a bad leak, it will stick to the floor as well...

If you just swapped it, did you remember to bleed it?

Change the line and stick w/ Dot 3 Brake fluid. Bleed properly and secure the line. You should be fine.
