so i just started up my FC recently, let it idle for a good 10 mins, then when i went ot rev it, sounded like a belt squreaching sound..

and now when i start it, it makes a squreaching sound..

doesn't seem good, can't really see where its coming from.

Check the bearing on the power steering idler pulley.
Check the bearings on both the waterpump and the alternator.

There are a limited number of parts that spin in the accessory drive(s), if the belt tensions are correct, it shouldn't be hard to isolate the culprit.

same problem a few days ago. Alternator belt wasn't tight enough. If you've run it for a short while with the screeching sound if it's a loose belt, it'll be hot. Mine was anyway.

You mean the air pump? If you don't route the air pump the belt will not have enough friction and it will slip at the water pump. To avoid this you need to route the belt around the air pump or convert your alternator to a dual pulley.
