squeeking noise from fan (or someplace near fan)

does anyone know what could cause a squeeking noise from the stock fan (or someplace near fan)? it seems as if it only starts when i rev the engine past 1.5-2krpm and it progressivly gets louder. i have tried spraying WD-40 on it but that does not seem to have done anything. its does not seem like anything too important and right now its jsut a bit irritating. oh well.

P.S. i have no A.C. belt or airpump belt (is the airpump belt necessary? it seems to turn the fan as well but i don't think i need it as the alternator belt seems to be doing a good job at spinning the fan)
