squealing under uim and no idle, help!

i removed the egr valve, acv, rats nest but kept the charcoal canister, bac and thermo. i have everything else blocked off and the nipple under the uim is for the fpr. i put in 550's for my turbo im installing to keep from having to get a new gasket but now its squeals really loud fom the tb (so it sounds?) and wont hold idle at all! it just bounces from 2,800 to 3,200rpms for a second or to and dies. new gasket was used for the uim to lim and rtv was used and gasket on the egr valve. i removed the acv a while agoo so it cant be the problem. could it be the uim to lim gasket? should i get a new gasket and use rtv as i plan on NOT going baCK under there. thanks!

bud.. you got a vac leak somewhere......

Ummm I'm a little unclear as to the 550's part of your rambling..... i don't get the part about installing them to keep from using a new gaskett??????

NEVER use RTV on a manifold gaskett... if i counted the times i had to remove my UIM for some trivial problem....... the stock gasket will hold up to several removals and re-installs as lons as you don't bitch it up... but its pretty much toast after one application of rtv....

yeah, i said i installed the 550's thinking the leak could come from there also. i didnt use rtv and i did fix the problem. it was from not removing ALL of the old gasket off manifolds. i spent an hour cleaning to make sure and thats what it was, thanks anyways
